As the summer wore on, we were so thrilled that we had hit such major milestones. As we moved into October, it was clear we were going to exceed all our goals in terms of sell out shows! Thanks to our customers in Pearland and Alvin, and our wonderful vendor partners we achieved that.
Then, two life events happened at once. After 10 years of service, I was laid off. While disappointing, nothing could take away the experiences of pushing back whole hurricanes and beginning to raise bees right after!

Next, our family lost someone special. Our number one fan and customer.

Thanks to the out pouring of support from so many people, we gracefully celebrated our queen taking her seat up above.

She certainly put the wild, and the bloom, and the honey into Wild Bloom Honey. While not with us now, her spirit will eternally be with us as we go forward. She never missed a show, and she never will have to worry either!
With good news, I start a new role that will greatly enhance my ability to continue to grow this experience together. My father and I will be getting new queens in the spring and have focused our energies on winterizing and preparing our boxes for the spring.
The tough news, is we are also out of harvest for 2023.
We couldn't do any of this without your support. And we will be in touch with more to come.
